Citizenship

The nursing program instilled a strong sense of community obligation in myself. I have found that I look for new ways to better serve my community as a whole. Participating in a Capstone project allowed me understand the needs of others and prompted me to seek more of these experiences. I feel that the Community Health class and Community in Pictures project taught me about how I can make an impact as a nurse.

Community in Pictures – As a group project we used pictures to tell a story and encourage change regarding casino workers and second hand smoke.
